WordPress has certain default user types as indicated below that control what information can be edited or viewed in the admin area.
Standard User Roles for WordPress:
- Contributor: Can write blog post but cannot publish
- Author: Write and publish articles on the blog
- Editor: Can edit and publish any page on the site.
We have also set up custom user types. If additional user types or privileges are needed, please contact your Account Manager.
Site Editors
Site editors can edit any page or component across the website, add or remove menu items and edit alerts. They cannot however add or remove Users. Follows is the list of Editors on your existing site.
- Colleen – Marketing, Admin
- Chrystal – Marketing, Admin
- Suzie – Marketing, Editor
- Erin– Marketing, Editor
Admin Users
Admin users have access to any page and component across the website. They can also add or remove users. Below is the list of admin users that will primarily be updating alerts.
- Michelle – IT, Admin
- Janae – IT, Admin
- Marlene – IT, Admin
Contact one of these admin, or submit a service desk ticket to request a user be removed. Unique steps must be made in order to transfer/reattribute the edits made by the user to be deleted so that the work itself does not also get deleted.
Rates Editors
Rates editors only have access to the rates module and pages in the admin area. They can edit any existing rate and add or remove rates tables on https://www.allegacy.org/rates. More info on editing rates. Below is the list of rates editors.
