Internally, we often use the terms “squeeze” and “landing” page interchangeably. Though technically the term “squeeze” page is more accurate as the intention behind using these pages is to focus and tighten the member journey down the marketing funnel. In the analytics industry, a “landing” page is defined as the first place a user starts at or the page through which a user enters the site. Because we often link website banners to our squeeze pages, this definition is less applicable to our pages and the strategy with which we use them.
